I have been an educator for the past 20 years in the public education system. The main focus of my work is on improving educational equity for minority students. I am also interested in topics related to social justice, minority outcomes, special education, alternative education, leadership, and school cultures.
Besides being an educator, I am interested in photography, jewelry design, and writing. They serve as creative outlets for me and allow me to reflect in a quiet atmosphere.
